Teacup Trudy was a character originally created for pre-reader picture books, but author Ron Pittman wanted to re-boot the character to appeal to a slightly older, more sophisticated demographic. Poof! Trudy, along with her dog Alex were transformed into superheroes! “The Promise Crystals” is their origin story and the first in a series of early reader chapter books.
